Kathy Welsh has been a freelance writer and photographer for over 20 years concentrating on local news and feature stories about surrounding communities in which she has lived.

Kathy created the format used in Country Courier Magazine combining both newspaper and magazine styles that has produced a most pleasing layout for her readers.

As publisher, Kathy’s responsibilities are not only to

produce a quality, family magazine, but also to write, edit, photograph, create advertisement for clients with Art Director Terri Garofalo, and, of course, to promote the magazine to its fullest!

Terri J. Garofalo is an artist, cartoonist & humorous wordsmith… as well as a graphic designer.

ART: She works in multiple media creating everything from painting & photography to sculpture. Her work has been shown in Connecticut, New York (Beacon, New York City, Pawling, Poughkeepsie, Rhinebeck, & Saratoga), New Hampshire and Vermont.

CARTOONS: Currently, Entities-R-Us — Ghost Hunter Comic is running as a web comic with new cartoons

daily, plus a blog. Check out www.entities-r-us.com and feel free to chat about art, cartoons, ghosts, or the latest wine review! Terri has also published various cartoons in a multitude of topics such as equine, hockey, political, etc.

WORDSMITHING: Humor is the main vehicle in Terri’s writing. “Sweepin’ The Crease…” hockey newsletter was all over the Internet through the ‘90s. She also writes with children in mind with her book Can I Ride.

GRAPHIC DESIGN: Terri has worked in the industry since 1982. She has worked for or had as clients such companies as Askey & Associates Advertising, Graphic Design Associates, Emery & Associates, Milton Bradley Company, Dickard Widder Industries, Burlington Industries, Wamsutta/Springs, Hightower Associates, Tangueray, Milgray Company, Southern Dutchess News, Country Courier Magazine, Laser Pals, etc. She accepts freelance work for corporate identity, logo design, print advertising, newsletters and publications. She also accepts illustration assignments for cartoon, drawing & painting.
